Please meet my one of a kind handmade mixed media sculpture “ The March dancing hare”
He is a large statement piece and measures an impressive 27 inches tall and 16 inches wide. He would look beautiful displayed in any home.
His realistic head, ears and legs are hand sewn by myself from a top quality wavy beige tipped Schulte mohair fabric. His cute little tail is also created in white mohair.
He has a very strong non moveable solid armature base and his body has been carefully hand painted by myself using top quality archival artist paints. I have painted a beautiful abstract Pattern on his body using shades of irredesant gold, bronze and green paint. The painting on his body is very detailed and has been built up in many fine layers. It tells the story of the hare, featuring two hand painted boxing hares on one side and a running, jumping and sitting hare on the other side.
I have also realistically shaded his head and ears and he has gold leaf detailing added to his fur and body. His eyes are hand painted glass and he comes permanently mounted on a large rustic real wood slice. This piece of wood came from my local area where I often see hare’s playing in the nearby fields, so I thought it would be perfect to mount him on! The wood slice is beautiful and rustic, it has a natural crack which I felt complimented the natural nature of this sculpture. The wood slice has three metal legs securely attached / bolted to the bottom so that he can be displayed as a centrepiece on a table or on the floor in any room. He has a handmade leaf and bead garland around his neck and he is life size and even has realistic whiskers too.

Return and Refund Policy
I really hope you love your new critter, but if for any reason you are unhappy, please let me know by emailing me and I will do my very best to help you. The bear must be returned in original condition and carefully packed via an insured and tracked delivery service. A refund will then be given within 14 days of me receiving the returned item. Refunds do not include return delivery charges.
