Meet, it's my next creation, the beautiful and spectacular moth named Io. Her has a prototype, the female of moth Automeris io.
Wikipedia says: "Automeris io, the Io moth, is a colorful North American moth in the family Saturniidae. The Io (EYE-oh) moth ranges from the southeast corner of Manitoba and in the southern extremes of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in Canada, and in the US it is found from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, east of those states and down to the southern end of Florida."
Io has flexible arms, legs and antennaes, and 5 pin-joints. Her wings are soft and velvety. Her eyes were sculpted by me of polymer clay. The moth was sewn totally by hands of fabrics for miniature and fluffy viscose.
