Hello and thank you for stopping by to meet my little Prima Ballerina, Darcey, named after the famous British Ballerina. Darcey is hand stitched from gorgeous cream vintage long pile velvet and hand dyed ballet pink long pile modern velvet, has five cotter pin and disc joints, Wired arms for gentle posing, and is filled with stainless steel and pure wool.
Darcey’ s face is needle and scissor sculpted and features sparkling German black glass eyes with gentle airbrushed shading. Darcey can be displayed sitting or standing as you wish.
Darcey has design incorporated ballet slippers tied around her ankles with pink silk ribbons, and a fluffy ruffly pink tutu of vintage silver embroidered netting. A pink flowery trim of French silk ribbon accented with Swarovski crystals in the centre of each flower trims the bodice and drapes her shoulders.. She wears a matching circlet of French silk trim around her fuzzy little head, accented with more Swarovski crystals.
