Steiff Teddy Baby Panda with ID#0178/29 - Authentic - measures 11.4" or 29cm. He is in excellent shape with all black and white mohair in tact - five-way jointed with flat feet so he can stand (made of grey wool felt), angled wrists and open mouth showing pink felt inside, hence in the Teddy Baby style. Comes with all IDs including his yellow ear tag and button, chest tag, hangtag and original red ribbon. Amber glass eyes and black embroidered nose with mouth outlined. He is simply classic, adorable, high-quality design. No holes, rips, or tears. No odors - he has been kept in a clean storage bin.

He would be a great addition to any Steiff or toy collection. Not really intended to give to a young child to play with. Margarete Steiff, founder of the Steiff Toy company in Western Germany created her first Steiff animal, a felt elephant in 1880. In 1902, Steiff invented a teddy bear - the first plush animal with rod disc joints. Steiff has become and still is the leading manufacturer of high-quality toys and collectors' items.
