Ahoy there! This smart vintage-inspired sailor bear is ‘Bosun’. He has a hand embroidered anchor ‘tattoo’. At sea, the anchor is the safest, most secure object in a sailor’s life and an anchor tattoo is a symbol of protection, stability and security.

He also wears a calico collar and hat.

Stands just over 12” tall, not including his hat.

Made from warm, golden brown mohair with hand-tinted accents. He has velvety faux cashmere paw pads and shiny black glass eyes.

Fully jointed using cotter pin joints.
English glass eyes.

Filled with quality polyester filling and Steel pellets.
‘A Bear Behind’ button is sewn on to his bottom.

All of my bears are handmade by me with love and care. They all have their own characters and personalities and are looking to be adopted into loving homes.

Collector’s item. Not suitable for children (under 14 years).
