Dumpling 2021~

I decided to make a red colored bear on Chinese Traditional New Year every year since this year, and they all named Jiaozi, Dumpling ,means the very moment that the past year going into the new year.

This little bear Dumpling 2021, he is made of German Steiff Schulte Mohair, wine red, straight hair, medium density. A classic bear style.

It’s the year of Cow, so I made a pair of bull horn out of sculpy clay, a hoody hat that saying he is a bear in his childhood time, lovely and childlike. Chinese Fu character shows our tradition of both sending out and wishing for good blessings, I hand wrote one, with this lunar year’s name, add a tiny bell together fixed on the back of his hoody. His shirt, I lucky found he ideal matching color fabric with his dark tuned hair, and draw a dumpling in Chinese water ink painting way, painted on the front of this shirt.

The whole piece is kind of art isn’t it? Thank you for loving him~
