Tata, American Bulldog.
The work was done based on photographs of a real dog.

Inside there is a full frame made of a plastic lockline skeleton (spine, legs, tail). It is because of this that Tata can stand, sit and assume different postures. The filling inside is woolen fiber, some wood sawdust, glass granulate, and synthetic fluff.
We used two types of artificial fur and fleecy artificial suede on the paw pads.
Toning is done with textile paints and dry pastels.
The ears are reinforced with thin wire, so they can quite obediently assume different positions.
Eyes - realistic taxidermy polymeric eyes, the nose is made of self-hardening clay in the air, tinted and covered with a matte varnish for protection.
The mouth, teeth and tongue are molded of baked polymer clay, toned and also covered with a protective varnish. The jaws are made on a magnetic latch, so you can put it in any position, pushing the lower jaw with your hand to the required amount, or close it back.
The paws are also made on the skeleton and reinforced at the joints, they move in the shoulders and bend around the knees and wrists.
The paw pads are made of artificial suede, filled with synthetic fluff, so they are elastic to the touch. Claws are made of polymer clay, on the claws - manicure :)
The tail is also reinforced, it cannot wag it like a real dog, but it can also assume different positions.

Tata came into my life 8 years ago. I will never forget how she looked at me the first time; a bit grumpy and with a little attitude. For all those years we've been together every single day. The day she passed, a piece of me died with her. Svetlana took on this difficult project with a result I couldn't even dream to be possible! The attention to detail is amazing, Tata can move into different positions and even open her mouth for a cookie:) The day the parcel arrived, I opened the box and saw a small Tata looking at me; a bit grumpy and with a little attitude.. Thank you so much Svetlana for the beautiful craftmanship, your dedication and bringing my puppy back to life:)
