Victorian monkey ensemble (Orphan)

This fabulous piece has been in my collection behind glass and I am looking to give her a good home now.

5 1/2 inches high from the bottom of the base to the top of the monkeys head

All hand made and Fayette is a very detail oriented artist so here are the specifics of this piece. Words do not describe the attention to every little detail in this ensemble.

Monkey is actually seated on the larger spool with a pin in the spool that fits into the hole on bottom of monkey, but can be displayed alone seated on the edge of a shelf or book(see photo). The monkey is only about 3-1/2 inches seated.

Base is made of wood, painted and made to look old, as is the lace on the monkeys dress. There is fabric trim around the bottom of the base.

Pincushion has three rose stick pins all made by hand with felt leaves, and one heart stickpin with applique in the middle. There is a strawberry emery hanging on the side, and the cushion sits on a doily that has also been tea stained to look old.

There are spools of thread which the monkey sits on one of, and two other old thread spools on the base. The monkey holds a string of buttons in her sculpted paw.

Monkey is all hade sculpted and dressed in a very elaborate costume, and her hair has ringlets in the back in the Victorian style (see photo). Her face and hands, feet are also hand sculpted. She has a teeny string of beads around her neck and around her right wrist Her tail is wired for posing and sticks out of the back of her dress. Eyes are onyx beads.
She even has painted her nails, and her shoes (see photo) have one toe sticking out!
