MINIATURE Cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) – 2.2" (5.6 cm) height.

Cassowaries are flightless and belong probably to the oldest living branch of the birds.

The miniature cassowary is crocheted from textured yarn and shaded with oil paints. His head, neck and body are wireframed that allow him to take different poses. He has tiny glass bead eyes and hand-molded nose, helmet and legs.
Materials: yarn, sewing thread, glass beads, metal granulate, wire, wool filler, FIMO sculpay.

The bird was born in a non-smoking home.
