Bear in collar, Teddy from the collection «The Rainbow over Vyatka».

This collection devoted to Dymkovo Toy - bright, fun, original Russian folk art.

I created the heroes of this collection with love and warmth to my native Vyatka region. Inside each toy is a handful of pure river pebbles which I brought from the banks of the river Vyatka near the settlement Dymkovo – homeland of the Dymkovo toy.

Viscose (Germany), cotton, felt, gold leaf. 5 pin bindings. Glass eyes (Germany)
Filler: sawdust, river pebbles.
Toning: oil and dry pastel, watercolor pencil. Clothing - felt, cotton fabric.

My collection «The Rainbow over Vyatka» took the 1st place in the nomination " Friends of Teddy bears" on the international exhibition "Teddy World-13", in June 2018 at St. Petersburg. I'm happy!
