Hi, I'm delighted to introduce to you, "Herbie", made by myself Lynn Bowie of the award-winning Madabout Bears. "Herbie" is made from vintage mohair in a real teddy yellow colour. The mohair comes from a theatrical costume from the costumier W. Mutrie & Son Ltd. which burned down in 1957 so really old mohair! He stands at approx 8” tall, is traditionally five way cotterpin jointed and poly/steel ball filled for a nice weight. He has been both scissor and needle sculpted. He has English black glass eyes and blonde mohair pawpads. He comes to you wearing his wool felt ruff and simple goldtone bell.
