Mai is 11 inches tall and created from dreamy pearl oyster windswept German mohair. She is five way cotter pin joined with a wobble neck joint and a traditional hump. Her face has been needle and scissor sculpted, her eyes are black glass, she has hand shading to give her a loved and aged look all over. Mai’s chocolate embroidered nose has been waxed to match her waxed claws which compliment her aged cream velvet cashmere paw pads. She is filled with wood wool and weighted with steel shot in her body and paw pads for a nice weight.
This dreamy girl wears a hand made garland of Spring flowers around her head in pinks, ivory and lemons peppered with real vintage pearls. Around her neck hangs an aged pure silk peach ribbon.
Mai is one of a kind and comes with her certificate of authenticity.
