Hello Everyone and welcome to my listing for Old Bert :)

I do love sweet little sayings, and think the one on Old Bert's tag is just so true. With that in mind, I designed and created Old Bert, I felt he needed to be a somewhat traditional character, a bit scruffy and worn and well loved looking. He's a sweet little soul. He is created from a sparse beige mohair and measures approximately 8" from head to toe. He has genuine vintage/antique boot button eyes (as these are old boot buttons they have little marks on, they add such character) and is fully cotter pin jointed, his head has a wobble joint too but it's not too wobbly. I've given him cute little stitched claws and his traditional styled pads are all wool felt. He has a little needle felted nose. He is firmly filled and is weighted in his tummy with some steel pellets.

I have crocheted him a cute little bottle green sweater as it's so chilly here right now, and made him his sweet tag to finish him off.

As with all my creations, Old Bert isn't suitable for anyone under the age of 14 due to the way he is constructed.
