Steiff Salvador Dali bear (34 cm.) is inspired by the world famous artist. He said he had a 'love of everything that is gilded and excessive, my passion for luxury, and my love of fine clothes'. An extrovert from head to toe! Here he is, fully jointed and made from the finest black alpaca and wearing an elegant coat that would have made the master artist proud. The cape is sewn from the finest cashmere and wild silk with a golden handmade cord fastener. Of course, no tribute to Dali would be complete without the signature waxed and twisted moustache. A lovely face with small round ears and hand embroidered nose and mouth using gold coloured thread. Finally shiny black eyes give his face an expression of the 'master' artist. A superb collectors item. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide. His gold-plated button in the ear is embossed with an elephant motif to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the button in the ear.
