Thank you for stopping by to meet my newest little girls, a pair I’ve simply called ‘Sisters’. Each is hand stitched from German curly matted mohair and has 5 cotterpin ans disc joints with wobble heads. The taller sister measures approx 14cm/5.5”, the shorter one about 10cm/4” . They are filled with pure wool and glass sand for a little weight. The girls can also be posed sitting, but I prefer them standing.
They wear pretty dresses made from cotton french antique lace with a velvet sash threaded through a pretty sparkling rhinestone buckle. The bigger sister wears a hat I handstitched just for her, from hand dyed milliners straw. Both girls wear vintage millinery flowers on their heads, atop matching net bows.
