6.6 inches (17 centimeters)

This listing includes a handmade squishy soft teddy named Eugene. He likes to dream of the big seas and sit by the seaside, enjoying the salty breeze in his fur. Eugene is incredibly soft and he likes to get bellyrubs...

He is approx. 17 cm / 7 inch tall. His torso and thighs are handknit in manmade fibres (Peter Pan baby-friendly yarn) and lightly stuffed with lambswool and polyfill. His head is crocheted in 100% Alpaca (held double, Drops Alpaca), lightly stuffed with lambswool. His limbs are crocheted in 100% lambswool. Face is handembroidered.

His head and limbs are a bit coarser (natural wool), his torso is very soft.

Due to loose hairs, not suitable for babies. A collectable item.

Other items on photos are not part of the listing.

The Bear has lived with cats, but comes from a non-smoking environment.

Clean with a damp cloth, leave to dry.

I am a writer, scholar of literary studies and a dollmaker.

I have been making things with my hands for more than 13 years. I started making teddy bears in 2016 and have fallen in love with dollmaking ever since. By now, my bears live in Japan, USA, France, UK, Estonia, Australia, Tasmania, etc.

I create whimsical bears and dolls inspired by literature from new and vintage fabrics, which have been handdyed using tea, coffee, avocado peels etc. Some of my dolls have been painted with soft pastels to create a more "aged" look. I also love to crochet amigurumi bears and knit tiny sweaters and accessories for my bears. Lately, I have also started making mohair bears from Steiff Schulte Mohair.

Everything in this shop is designed and handmade by myself. I put a lot of love and effort in every piece I make.
Thank you for stopping by <3
