Please meet little 'Ernest' - the first in my series of 'scruffy bears'.
This is a new design, all bears in this series will have an extreme old and scruffy look - designed to look as if they have been played with, hugged, dragged around and generally enjoyed for years!

Ernest is just under 6.5" tall, and seated is just over 5" high. He is made from a sparse grey mohair, which is plucked, aged and painted in places for a really old look. I have given him lots of visible mend stitches, patches and worn areas, and he wears a length of tattered fabric around his neck.

Ernest has black glass eyes, embroidered features, and is completely and carefully hand stitched.
