THE BADGER

- This badger is 8" (21cm) tall and is 6" (15cm) tall sitting :)
- My work on this chubby guy started with sewing his body from German Schulte black fur and grey long-sparse fur.
- His head was made from Shulte white & black short and long white fur.
- I made his inner ears from black velvet fabric.
- His paw pads are made from brown velvet fabric with needle-sculpted toes and fingers
- I stuffed his body with excelsior, polyfill and glass beads for the weight :)
- His eyes are German glass eyes.
- I needle and scissor-sculpted his face, adding some needle felted parts in order to give him more character and life-like appearance.
- His face was toned with acrylics and soft pastels in black-brown tones and the same colors were added to his ears and paws.
- His nose was varnished in order to give it a "wet" realistic look.

THE OUTFIT

- Mr Dalton's vest is made of a 100% wool felt with some decor brown stitching and pastels toning around the edges. His vest has four "buttons" - 4 blue gemstones in the front and in the back.
- His tophat is made of 100% wool felt that was painted dark brown and has a caramel twisted thread attached to it.
- His knitted scarf is burgundy wool that fits into his whole color-scheme and adds a nice accent to his looks :)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Mr Dalton will arrive with his own "Heritage Bears" certificate of authenticity proving that he was made entirely by me including all accessories.
