Meet Liv: a true one of a kind!

Sweet Liv is sewn from Italian viscose, leather and cotton: all of which was distressed to turn her into a renaissance beauty from years ago. She is tinted with oil paint to accentuate her thoughtful expression. Her joints are: mounts, round disks, and pins (her head can swing). She is lovingly filled with wool, very fine sawdust, and steel granules for a pleasant hand feel. Liv can stand without support so you may pose her as you like.
Liv’s eyes are glass lamp work and hand-painted by me. Her eyelids are made from Merino wool. The nose is stitched with cotton thread and waxed to a natural finish.

All of Liv’s clothing is hand sewn from only natural fibres: silk, cotton, linen, batiste, velvet (cotton), and antique silk and cotton laces. All clothing is removable and may be dry cleaned.

Liv’s wrists are adorned with antique, French silk ribbon. The sleeves of her dress are soft velvet and the bodice is French jacquard ribbon. I’ve embellished the neckline with tiny, gilded (dark gold) Japanese Toho beads. The skirt is fine, natural linen and her apron is cotton lace. Her dress is trimmed at the hemline with Japanese glass beads and silk lace. Both laces are antique (100+ years) and made in France!

She will arrive to you in a safe and sturdy, cardboard box. But inside, Liv will be lovingly packed in her own, beautiful wooden keepsake box that contains her passport.
