... adding a touch of whimsy with this sweet panda "Cherry Blossom" :o)

Miniature in size but BIG in personality "Cherry Blosom' is created from the 'queen of furs', beautifully soft mink, stands a mere five inches tall. I made a pretty pink ruffle for around the neck and then put a cherry blosssom by the ear, so dear and so pretty. Panda will bring along the fan seen in the background :o) Materials used: super soft mink fur, shiny black glass eyes w. sclera (eye-whites) muslin lining, fillers: polyfill + glass sand, pile f. the pads, f. M. Lamb, 5 locknut joints.
This sweet furry being is completely hand-stitched with hundreds of tiny stitches. This is the smallest size for me, although it poses the most challenges it is also the most rewarding to me, just LOVE to see the finished little one, to hold it in my hand, so tiny and yet so perfect :)
