Thank you for stopping by to meet my little Panda Ballerinas. Seated a tiny 5cm/2" approx, they are hand stitched from gorgeous vintage long pile velvet in traditional panda colours of black and oyster white. These little girls are so petite their arms and legs are strong jointed, with a cotter pin neck joint. They are filled with pure Australian wool and stainless steel shot for as much weight as you can get when you're only 2" small:) Their little faces are needle and scissor sculpted as well as airbrushed.
The girls wear ballerina style dresses of fine black tulle accented at the waist with vintage look rhinestone chain, and wear a tulle bow on their heads accented with another rhinestone. They will come seated in a miniature replica ballet slipper in gorgeous rich red satin- this slipper is beautiful, it even has a real leather sole and is made by Freed of London, who famously make full size ballerina shoes. I've given the slipper a bit of sparkle of course:) trimming it with vintage look rhinestone chain and a vintage rhinestone earring. I can just imagine these girls dancing the night away at a sparkling Holiday soirée, can't you?:)
