Madsen Miniatures is very pleased to introduce you to "Larissa" - a one of a kind miniature butterfly-winged panda-style teddy bear completely designed and handsewn with love by me, Lisa Madsen. She's a darling tiny teddy about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall. She has the centerseam head design and has been made from lovely vintage velvets in an off-white cashmere & a light gold cashmere with hand-painted flowery-ish designs on the front & back of her legs & on her paws & she has hand-drawn and painted flower designs with sparkles on her ultrasuede footpads - she loves having sparkley feet! Larissa is wearing a light pink organza ribbon headband with a bow & a collar & strand necklace of iridescent gold & dark pink glass seed beads. She also has tiny black wire antennae atop her wee head. She has gorgeous semi-transparent sparkley butterfly-style wings in a wonderful pink & gold floral design with pink flower accents as well as light gold flower accents on her wings & on her extending wires - so pretty! - they were handmade & designed by the talented artist Penny of *indigo*moon* & you can adjust them very gently. And Larissa comes with her darling little light pink enamelled ladybug friend attached to her left arm - so cute! And she also comes with her vintage-style wooden block with wonderful floral prints on it. ~:O) Larissa's darling little face has been needle and scissor sculpted and has also been shaded & sparkled to bring out her expression. She also has wired arms for different posing positions.

Larissa is fully cotterpin and disk jointed; with handblown glass eyes, and a lacquered black pearl cotton nosie & a thread mouth and teeny eyebrows. She is stuffed with polyfil and her little tummy and legs have some bb's in them to give a nice weighted feel in your hand and to help with standing although she's more of a leaner.

Larissa will come to you with her own little sewn-on acrylic nametag and I have also initialed the footpad so she's all ready to come to her new hug. She comes from a smoke-free & pet-free home. And, Larissa is not suitable for young children as she has small parts.
