Welcome to Blue Valley Bears, My name is Susan Mitchell and I live in the picturesque Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia and I have been selling to collectors worldwide since 2005. My bears are entirely hand sewn from recycled vintage furs, generally mink but I also make use of muskrat and fox fur. From the first sketch to pattern drafting process and complete piece I strive for excellence in workmanship, quality of material and appeal.
