Making the world a furrier place.....
Hello! I'm Michelle Doig the bear artist behind Padfield bears and welcome to my page. Since discovering this wonderful vocation my days are filled with fluff and happy little faces. It is a total pleasure to create and I am constantly amazed how each bear develops their own personality regardless of what I may have to say in the matter. There is a special magic that comes along with a bear if you allow yourself to enjoy it. If I'm honest I become attached to every bear I make and would love to keep them all but bears need to find their own way in the world and without you none of this would be possible. I'm over the moon when some one chooses one of the Padfield gang and it makes my heart sing. Thank you so much and please take care of them in their new adventures x
Please note (boring but necessary)
The traditional way I construct my bears and friends deems them unsuitable for children under the age of 14. Bears sold to countries outside the UK may be subjected to import taxes or duties. As I am trading as Padfield bears I can not send parcels marked as ‘gifts’ or under value to avoid payment of such. You as the buyer are responsible to pay these to your government on top of any monies you have paid to me. Parcels may be opened by customs at any point of their journey to you, so I have to pack your bear with this in mind.
Data and your Privacy
Padfield bears / I have access to limited personal data for core business purposes.
When you place an order with me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Bear Pile. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Bear Pile, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes. Nor any other purposes other than the circumstances listed below or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Bear Pile to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies/payment processes to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted
