Ahoy Matey! All my little (and big) ScaliWagGrrs soft sculpture bears, dogs and other critters are made using my own designs and patterns. Each is made with grreat love and care. I use mohairs, alpaca as well as fine synthetic fabrics. I use premium glass eyes, some of wich I hand paint. Noses may be handsculpted from clay / epoxy, embroidered or needlefelted. I usually use nut and bolt joints. I love to airbrush so nearly all my animals have airbrushed details,from full coloring to just the finishing touch of shading. I also enjoy dying mohair to get just the right shade.I enjoy creating animals in a variety of styles but my favorite is realistic with a bit of humanization to it. Thanks for stopping by to visit!
