Most of my bears have hand sculpted porcelain faces -I sculp a face using a modelling compound - a plaster mold is then made and porcelain is poured into the mold to form a cast. The cast is then cleaned and resculpted and fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees .Several more lower temperature firings are done to obtain the colours and delicate details to match the gorgeous German mohairs used to create the bodies.I also makes the tradition bears using just mohair and a range of old loved out of the attic style bears.All my bears come from a smoke free home and come with a signed detail swing tag and either an embroidered Jo Bears on the foot or a label stitched into the back seam.These bears are for collectors and not suitable for children.All are completely original designs and pattern made by me .I have been featured in several magazines including Teddy Bear International -Teddy Bear Times and Teddy Bear Scene.I also have had the honour of designing two bears for Deans artist showcase.------
I do a lay-away service up to three or four months depending on the price of the bear.If payments fall through the first payment is a deposit and therefore none refundable other payments are credited .Once the bear is on layaway it will not be possible to change the bear to another without forgoing the deposit , so please be sure when ordering that you want the bear.PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS BEFORE ORDERING. And please note I can only put away one bear at a time for each person .. Sorry but have been let down too many times as people change their minds.

.please note that I always pack very well and use a signed for service but I am not responsible for items lost or damaged with the shipping . I always ship with insurance so will help with any claims .please note I am not responsible for the return postage costs .
If you live in Europe please be aware of extra charges that you will have to pay on receipt of goods .. import charges and Vat .this is due to the Eu and brexit .
I can only insure up to £250 for international customers, over that it is extremely expensive . Uk customers upto £500 with special delivery.
