Kitty

Kitty is made of gorgeous luxury faux fur from Tissavel of France.
I purchased 4 sample pieces of big cat fur -
each sample was approximately 8" x 13"
and they were so pretty but not nearly big enough to
make a proper big cat, so I decided to make
my own "kitty" using all 4 pieces of fabric.
A hodge podge kitty, if you will!
She is meant to be whimsical though I loosely
designed her from a leopard cub photo I found on the internet.
Kitty's eyes are premium hand-blown German glass,
taupe colored with black pupils.
She is jointed though I have anchored her front legs
so she stays in this seated position.
Her tail is wired.
She is filled with polyfil, granite granules, and tiny glass beads for weight.
Her nose and mouth are embroidered of black perle cotton.
