Loretta

Loretta is made of hand-dyed vintage Schulte German mohair.
She has airbrushed accents and matching foot pads.
Loretta is made to stand on her own
and her arms were made with a bend so that she may hold
her little beaded Valentine heart that I made for her.
She is fully jointed, filled with polyfil, granite granules, and bb's for weight.
She wears a scruffy organza collar with a hand-dyed rayon ribbon tie.
Her little vintage dolly shoes have hand-dyed rayon ribbon lace-ups
to match her hair bow.
Her eyes are made of hand-blown German glass with
wool felt backing for expression.
Loretta's handmade Valentine heart took many, many hours
to create and though it was my first try at something like this,
I am happy with how it turned out!
