Zodiac a hand painted BearBelly Bear

Please meet a very unique bear called Zodiac by Bears of Bath. Who is patiently awaiting adoption : )
This special bear is number 338 in the Bears of Bath Series and comes with a signed and numbered Bears of Bath certificate.
She is approx 15 inches in height and made from a lovely super soft variegated brown faux fur . She is fully cotterpin jointed with English 18 mm Black Glass Eyes, which have been accented with cashmere. She is filled with dense polyester stuffing. She has a hand painted and varnished nose. Her face has been subtly painted with acrylic paint.
Zodiac has a very specially hand painted Bear Belly which I myself have personally painted. It is inspired from my love of the paintings of Alphonse Mucha and the painting is entitled Zodiac 1896. It is in the style of Art Noveau and is painted in acrylic which is on canvas, varnished lighlty for protection.
Her inner ear and foot pads are made from gold mohair : ) She has an embroidered fabric Bears of Bath 2012 label sewn into her leg
Zodiac is a very special OOAK bear .
Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007 and 2010. Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Times and this edition of the Teddy Bear Annual..
Bears of Bath has just been nominated for A British Bear Artists Award 2011
Bears of Bath has just won the Miniature Undressed Category at the British Bear Artist Awards 2011
This little bear is entirely hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home and only the best quality materials have been used in making this little bear.
Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
