Introducing LULU, a whimsical OOAK two-tone, French Floozie inspired bear hand-sewn from the softest pink and white mohair.
Lulu measures 14" standing (assisted), 12" sitting with custom hand-painted starburst English glass eyes in shades of copper, slate grey with silver highlights, set in ultrasuede eyelids with thick, sweeping feminine black eyelashes!
Lulu is 5-way jointed, with cotter pin neck and locknut limbs, and her arms are wired. Her trapunto-style ultrasuede paws have been airbrushed in vivid girlie fuschia and pink tones. She is filled with polyfill and a little steel shot for a weighty feel.
Her face has been extensively needlesculpted, and dry-brushed with oil paints to create her alluring, saucy look. Her nose is embroidered, again in fuschia coloured perle cotton and finished with a touch of shine.
I spent many hours creating Lulu's custom top-hat from sparkling fuschia fabric, finished with sequins and embellished with pink tulle bows, flowers. A sparkling butterfly sits ever so delicately on the brim, and I have adorned the hat with authentic silver jewellery, pearls and diamantes. Lulu also wears a fuschia satin ribbon and sparkling tropical flower around her neck.
Like all Nikkel Bears, Lulu has been created in a smoke-free environment using only the best quality materials. She has been designed to be a collectable and not a child's toy, and will arrive safe and sound on your doorstep with her own personalised story card and Nikkel Bears hang tag.
