Twinkle By Jo Nevill - JO BEARS 13 inches (33 centimeters) Twinkle is made from a new designed pattern with a needle felted face -I have really enjoyed creating her and seeing her come to life! I have made her from a wonderful oyster curly mohair that has a golden thread running through it . Twinkle's face has a needle felted muzzle -I have designed her with big jowls inspired by my dogs droopy mouth.Really pleased with the way her face has turned out.I have given her a real gold fired porcelain nose and topaz glass eyes and ultra suede eyelids. Twinkle has embroidered needle sculpted paw pads and is cotter pin jointed. She has beautiful fairy dusted wings and wears twinkly flowers and berries on her head and neck. Twinkle is a nice tubby 13" tall. I love her so much that I am reluctant to sell her but I can't keep them all!!! Adopted Add to Favorites       Pin It

Jo Nevill Jo Bears United Kingdom 475 Items Listed     Most of my bears have hand sculpted porcelain faces -I sculp a face using a modelling compound - a plaster mold is then made and porcelain is poured into the mold to form a cast. The cast is then cleaned and resculpted and fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees .Several more lower temperature firings are done to obtain the colours and delicate details to match the gorgeous German mohairs used to create the bodies. I also makes the tradition bears using just mohair and a range of old loved out of the attic style bears. All my bears come from a smoke free home and come with a signed detail swing tag and either an embroidered Jo Bears on the foot or a label stitched into the back seam. These bears are for collectors and not suitable for children. All are completely original designs and pattern made by me . I have been featured in several magazines including Teddy Bear International -Teddy Bear Times and Teddy Bear Scene. I also have had the honour of designing two bears for Deans artist showcase.------ I do a lay-away service up to three or four months depending on the price of the bear.If payments fall through all previous payments are none refundable.
