Please meet a very special little bear called Georgie a real OOAK bear by Bears of Bath. Who is patiently awaiting adoption and lots of hugs : )
This little bear is number 293 in the Bears of Bath Series and comes with a signed and numbered Bears of Bath certificate.
Georgie is made from a brand new design and is approx 7 inches in height She is made from lovely Helmbold old gold natural Mohair. Fully cotterpin jointed with English 8mm Black Glass Eyes surrounded by cashmere eyelids. Her features have been delicately hand painted and shaded, giving Georgie an unique appearance.
She is filled with dense polyester stuffing to give her extra weight which makes her feel quite real when she sits in your hand. This little bear has a hand painted nose which has been varnished several times to give a lovely sheen : )
Her little toes and fingers have been carefully hand sculpted and then painted using a pulled sewing technique, she has little dimples on her feet : )
Her inner ear, foot pads, hands and muzzle are made from old gold cashmere: ) She has an embroidered fabric Bears of Bath label sewn into her back.
This little bear is entirely hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home and only the best quality materials have been used in making him.
Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007 and 2010. Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Club International and in the current edition of the Teddy Bear Annual too : )
Bears of Bath has just been nominated for A British Bear Artists Award 2011
Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
