Unfortunately Aztec's original layaway fell through so I'm relisting him for sale. He's a gorgeous original design OOAK hand-sewn bear made from a rich caramel Shulte mohair in an exquisite dense woolly pile.
Aztec's custom starburst English glass eyes have been handpainted by me in deep emerald and black with sparkling highlights. His eyes are set in ultrasuede eyelids, and his face has been extensively needlesculpted and shaded with oil paints in several colours to create his mischievous personality!
Aztec's trapunto style paws pads are made from neutral shaded ultrasuede which I have airbrushed and finished with oilpaints in several shades to create a depth of colour. Deep brown leather claws on all paws complete his realistic look.
Aztec can stand (assisted) at 14" but has been designed to sit. He is 5-way jointed with locknut limbs and cotterpin neck, and his arms are wired to enable him to pose. He is filled with polyfill and a little steel shot in his tubby tummy for extra weight.
I have decorated Aztec with a tri-coloured wired ribbon ruff in several shades of caramel and copper, and he wears a circular jewel encrusted pendant in glittering gold and copper stones.
Like all Nikkel Bears, Aztec has been created in a smoke-free environment using only the best quality materials. He has been designed to be a collectable and not a child's toy, and will arrive safe and sound on your doorstep with his own personalised story card and Nikkel Bears hang tag.
