Banjo By Margaret Burke-Nikkel Bears 8 inches (20.3 centimeters) Little cheeky Banjo - an OOAK hand-sewn panda in luscious deep chocolate and contrasting stark white long-pile mohair! Designed to sit at 6", Banjo can stand (assisted) at 8". His custom hand-painted starburst German glass eyes have been coloured in aquamarine and blue - like the colours in a deep forest pool, and sit in ultrasuede eyelids. His nose is embroidered in black Perle cotton and finished with a little nose gloss for a 'wet' look. Banjo is 5-way jointed with locknut limbs and cotter pin neck, and has been filled with polyester and a little steel shot for a weighty feel. His paws have been hand sewn in trapunto style from taupe ultrasuede, and he has been shaded with oil paints. Wearing a ribbon ruff from vivid orange variated silk ribbon, Banjo's little cap has been designed and custom made by me in gold satin, decorated with swirly crystal paint and sparkling diamantes, and topped with crystal beads.
