Cody By Margaret Burke-Nikkel Bears 14 inches (35.5 centimeters) A keepsake OOAK hand-sewn bear made exlusively for my dear friend's new baby girl! A two-tone bear made from luxurious long-pile soft alpaca in taupe and white, Cody has been made to measure 14" standing (assisted). Cody has custom hand-painted starburst English glass eyes in shades of deep sapphire and violet set in ultra suede eyelids. Her paws are also hand sewn in trapunto style from ultrasuede and shaded with oil paints. Filled with polyfill and a little steel shot for a weighty feel, Cody is 5-way jointed with locknut limbs and cotter pin neck. A double ribbon ruff in baby pink organza and satin sits around her neck, and a girlie pink dummy (pacifier) with a hand-crafted porcelain teddy head hangs from her neck.
