HONEY By Margaret Burke-Nikkel Bears 14 inches (35.5 centimeters) Original OOAK designed and hand-sewn bear in the softest honey-coloured Shulte silky 15mm mohair, Honey has been designed to sit at 11", but can stand assisted at 14". I have hand-sewn Honey's paws from matching ultrasuede in trapunto style. To add colour, I have airbrushed with copic markers, and finished with oil paints to create a depth of colour in natural tones to add contrast to her fur. I have hand-painted Honey's custom German glass eyes in starburst style, in sparkling emerald green, white and black combinations. Her eyes are set in honey coloured ultrasuede eyelids, and I have spent a lot of time shading around her eyes to create her alluring appeal. Sweeping long black lashes frame her eyes for a really sexy, Playboy bunny look! Her nose is embroidered from Perle cotton in a peachy-pink shade which has been highlighted with colour. Her face has been extensively needle and scissor sculpted to create her feminine, beguiling expression. Filled with polyfill and a little steel shot in her tummy for a weighty, teddy feel, Honey is 5-way jointed with a cotter pin neck and locknut limbs. Her arms are wired for posing. In keeping with her Easter theme, Honey wears wired Easter Bunny ears made from fuschia coloured satin sprinkled with diamantes with feather trim. Her sexy satin bow tie is also adorned with diamantes. I have handcrafted her fuschia coloured velvet waistband and attached a diamante buckle in the front, and a cute white fluffy bunny tail in the back! Like all Nikkel Bears, Honey has been made in a smoke-free environment using only the finest quality materials.
