Please meet fundraising bear "Henley" Designed & handmade by me Rachel Summersby of Wee Beary Tails. He is podgy, cuddly with a big grin! I hope you like him, he is a special creation I have made to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation. My husband took part in the London to Oxford Trek this weekend walking 100km in under 30 hours. He crossed this finish line this morning in just under 22 hours he did really well. Whilst he was taking part in the event I made this colourful bear. In bold tones of red - BHF colours with bright yellow and blue too. 100% of his adoption fee will go to the British Heart Foundation via our fundraising page for 2017. So if you decided to buy him you adopt a lovely, happy bear & help us to raise money for this charity. We thought 'Henley' would suit him as the Trek started at London went through Henley to then finish at Oxford.

Henley measures approx 10" tall when he is standing and 7" when sitting - due to his design he does prefer to sit!

He has been created from wavy hand dyed bright red mohair, bold blue, red and yellow faux fur fabric & blue cashmere paw pads. Fully jointed with cotter pin joints and has a wobble joint for his head, he is weighted with steel shot in his arms, feet and his body and filled with poly fibre filling so he feels cuddly, all his joints move freely making him very poseable!

He also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in his back, black glass eyes, tones of yellow to gold perle cotton thread nose with sparkly blue highlights. Black perle cotton thread smiley mouth & eyebrow detail, he has a needle sculpted face. He wears a red organza ribbon tied in a bow around his neck and a 'love' pendant in the shape of an elephant which has a view of London on the other side.
