I'm glad to introduce to you my new tiny EXTREME MICRO BEAR CUB.
The cub was crocheted, brushed to fluffy and scissor sculpted. Crocheted parts have no seams, and that's a great advantage for miniature. All the tools that I use look like different type of needles - tiny crochet hook, forceps and brushes.
Each limb, each part was crocheted separately, thread-shaped. Then carefully brushed to fluffy and scissor shaped. Staffed with cotton. The cub is soft. He is 5 way thread jointed. It means that the head and the limbs are moveable.
The cub has tiny purple glass beads eyes. He was carefully oil-shaded. All the paint I use is wet-and-water-resistant, still it's not recommended to wash him ;-)
(But should he need brushing - I suggest that you use a clean small eyelash brash.)
Though the cub is so very tiny, it took many and many hours to create him.
He will arrive to his new home with his lovely natural half WALNUT SHELL (carefully cleared and mechanically polished half of a shell, then decarated with color dots), beautifully packed in the small box made by me with the certificate signed by me :-). He will wear the tiny silk ribbon.
I pack each cub in a lovely miniature box, with a certificate and accessories, great for a gift. All placed in postal package. So that the little treasure will arrive to the new home dry and safe.
I'm Natalia Kosova (Carritsa) and I've been creating bears and friends for 10 years already!
There were over two handred cubs, adopted all over the world! I'm thrilled by this thought! Some of them were hand sewen and some were crocheted, all sizes - from micro small to realy large. Each was a real One-of-a-Kind, made totally by me, without use of any patterns or molds, never repeated (and impossible to repeat). Each got a part of my soul. I can not keep them, I need to send them to the bigger world - adopted or presented. I'm kind of addicted to seeing the happyness they give to people. And I always try to make something new, something 'impossible', something mind-blowing :-)
It's absolutely fantastic to make a soulful creation and see the happiness that it gives to someone!
Right now I'm totally obsessed with miniature! I finally found the right matherials and the right techniques for it, and the new opportunities are just blowing my mind! I have lots of ideas and great plans, and so eager to fulfil them.
I hope my tiny cubs will surprise you and make you smile! :-)))
