I know I wasn't going to make anymore festive bears, but this piece of green mohair arrived and a Holly themed old loved bear appeared!

Please meet a well worn, subtly Christmas bear from me in an 'Old Loved' style, introducing "Ole Hollie" I really enjoyed making her look aged and well loved! Designed & handmade by me Rachel Summersby of Wee Beary Tails. She is a worn, very loved Wee Beary Tails Bear, I hope you like her!

She measures approx 10" tall when she is standing and 7" when sitting - due to her design he does prefer to sit!

She has been created from:
Sparse pile pale peppermint green mohair on a pale yellow / gold backing. Holly printed cotton paw pads and inner ears which have been backed / lined and aged with fabric shading pens.

She is fully jointed with cotter pin joints and has a secure wobble joint for her head.

She is weighted with steel shot in her arms, feet and her body and filled with poly fibre filling so she feels cuddly, all her joints move freely making her very poseable, I wanted her to have that cuddly floppy feel.

She also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in her back.
She has one black glass eye and a deep green button eye, he has a rich red perle cotton thread nose with sparkly gold highlights and it is over-stitched with green perle cotton. Brown perle cotton thread smiley mouth & eyebrow detail, she has a needle sculpted face. She wears an aged stocking hat on her head with green & brown stitching details and a felt holy sprig with a red heart shaped button in the centre, she has shaved patches over her arms legs and body which have been shaded to look faded & to make her look worn and loved with green & brown stitching details, she has a wooden holly pendant and a green check ribbon around her neck.

'Ole Hollie' will arrive with her own signed swing tag label.
