5.3 inches (13.5 centimeters)
Please meet my sloth called ‘Yoda’. He is approx. 5.33 inches (14 cm) tall.
Yoda is made from a brown/grey colored long pile mini fabric. He is sewn by hand with a lot of love and attention to detail.
He is filled with synthetic filling and some granulate (steel shot) to give him a nice weight.
Yoda has two big black glass eyes.
His nose and nails are sculpted from Apoxie sculpt clay with makes them very strong but it is always better to be gentle while moving his arms and legs.
Yoda is four way jointed this means his arms and legs are posable so you can put him in different poses.
He loves to cuddle up in your hands.
Yoda has an original ‘Mellisea Creation’ tag. He will also come with a certificate of authenticity to assure you from an original ‘Mellisea Creations’ creation.
Although Yoda loves hugs and to be held and cuddled, he is not a toy. He is meant for a collector and not suitable for children.
I try to take the pictures with the best color settings but they can always look slightly different in real.
*Decoration and the tiny sloth on the last pictures is not included.*

My name is Melanie Meulenberg-Ansems, and I am an award-winning, self-taught soft-sculpture artist. I live in the most southern part of the Netherlands.
I started sculpting when I was just 9 years old. I worked with polymer clay (FIMO/ Cernit/ Super Sculpey) for more then 15 years until I got some unfortunate problems with my hands which made it hard for me to work with clay. Not able to sit still or do nothing I started making mini-crochets figurines. In 2009 I started my first attempt in sewing a soft-sculpture animal. I drew my own pattern and made my first dog handbag.
A little while later my first (smaller) soft-sculpture tiger called ‘Toby’ was born. Since them many more have been born.
I use several techniques and materials for my creations, like (felting) wool, fabric, mohair, faux fur and polymer clay. Not all of my creations are jointed, so please read the descriptions carefully. My creations are handmade and one of a kind. They are all made with lots of love, care and attention to detail. They will come with a tag and a certificate.
Unfortunately I can't keep all my little darlings to myself and I will have to put some of them up for adoption.
I hope you enjoy looking through my gallery and maybe you will find one of my darlings you would like to adopt and give a lovely home.
Thank you for your time!
