Atticus is a fully-jointed, panda-style bear with a difference. He is made from 2 shades of sparse mohair and his pads are cloth overlaid with beige vintage lace. He has a little tuft on the top of his head that is made of hemp fibres, it is tied with a little plait made from embroidery threads. He has dark-brown, glass eyes and an embroidered nose made from vintage thread. He has been firmly stuffed with polyester and might stand with the right kind of encouragement. He has a number of old wooden beads strung on a boot lace round his neck for decoration. He was named Atticus as I happened to watch To Kill A Mockingbird at the same time as I made him.
