I'd like to introduce you to Belle, a pretty little lady who sits a petite 5.5cm/2 1/4" seated, or 7cm/2 3/4" approx standing. Hand stitched from gorgeous vintage long pile velvet in soft beige, she has five cotter pin and disc joints with wired arms, and is filled with stainless steel and pure wool. Her eyes are sparkling black glass and her airbrushed face is needle and scissor sculpted to emphasise her chubby cheeks.
Belle wears a tutu-style dress of palest blush pink real silk tulle and wears a matching tulle head bow accented with a vintage millinery flower. She comes with a matching bunch of the same flowers resting on her lap and will come to you sitting in her antique powder box, found in Paris. I adore these little boxes so much I had to buy one for myself to keep:) It measures about 4cm/1 3/4" square, and has a pale green silk velvet cushion in the base.
