Madsen Miniatures is very pleased to introduce you to "Solace" - a one-of-a-kind miniature fantasy-winged teddy bear completely designed and handsewn with love by me, Lisa Madsen. She's a darling tiny teddy about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall. She has the center seam head design and has been made from a lovely soft long pile cashmere velvet in an off-white & a very pretty vintage long pile velvet in a navy blue & she has hand-drawn and painted butterfly designs with sparkles on her ultrasuede footpads - she loves having sparkly feet! Solace is wearing a navy blue lace ribbon headband with a bow & she has a collar & strand necklace of iridescent turquoise blue glass beads. She also has tiny black wire antennae atop her wee head. She has gorgeous semi-transparent sparkly fantasy-style wings in delicate shades of blue, turquoise with a hint of green with butterfly silhouettes and designs with turquoise blue crystal flowers at the centers - so pretty! - they were handmade & designed by the talented artist Penny of *indigo*moon* & you can adjust them very gently. And she comes with her lovely little vintage-style wooden block to sit on, it has wonderful vintage prints of butterflies on each side. And Solace has a sparkly green-winged butterfly friend attached to her left arm - so cute! ~:O) Solace's darling little face has been needle and scissor sculpted and has also been shaded & sparkled to bring out her expression. She also has wired arms for different posing positions.

Solace is fully five-way cotterpin and disk jointed; with handblown glass eyes, and a lacquered black pearl cotton nosie & a thread mouth and teeny eyebrows. She is stuffed with polyfil and her little tummy and legs have some bb's in them to give a nice weighted feel in your hand and to help with standing although she's more of a leaner.

Solace will come to you with her own little sewn-on acrylic nametag and I have also initialed the footpad so she's all ready to come to her new hug. She comes from a smoke-free & pet-free home. And, she is not suitable for young children as she has small parts.
