WEASLEY

I would like to introduce you to my latest wacky bear "Weasley" who is a new variation on the original pattern, as Weasley has a slender and elongated body, which makes this soulful looking bear, 14 inches tall. Weasley has a few other design alterations.
Weasley is made from a redcurrant coloured, tightly curled, German mohair with black tips, his paw pads, droopy inner ears and eyelids have been made from a redcurrant cashmere fabric.
Weasley has beautiful deep blue, hand enameled glass eyes and a huge, bulbous, black needle felted, button like nose (wool supplied from a local farm). Another new feature for this design is the mohair muzzle, instead of the usual cashmere. His facial features have been heavily needle sculpted and airbrushed with black shading. Also his large feet have been heavily needle sculpted, to create the effect of 3 rather chubby toes, and also enhanced with black airbrushed detail.
Weasley is fully jointed and firmly filled with a heavy weight stuffing.

My Information:
I have been designing and making bears for over 10 years. My bear craze has
turned in the last 9 years from an addictive hobby into a fulltime passion with
hopefully some reward. I am probably best known for my wacky style of
bears which have my usual tell tale signs eyelids, enamelled eyes, sculpted
faces and paw pads, embellished with airbrushing and not forgetting droopy
ears. My bear making passion has enabled me to travel to Japan
demonstrating bear making and to sell my creations within a large
department stores around the world.
I have been fortunate to win an URSA AWARD for one of my Toy-Box
Treasures and have been featured in numerous teddy bear publications and
commissioned to make a bear for a TV advert for an American company. I
always feel very honoured to be asked to make shop exclusives for specialist
bear shops across the world, but I still get a great thrill when a collector
chooses one of my bears to be added to their very special hug. I have never
lost sight of my standards and high quality I like to achieve whether I produce
a bear that cost £49 or £500.00.
