My name is Maria Guyda. I was born and live in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have a loving husband, three children, a dog, a cat, 2 parrots and 2 hamsters. I love animals very much & once dreamed of being a veterinarian, & well versed in veterinary medicine. I'm a professional artist known under pseudonym "marigu". Graduated National Academy of Fine Arts & Architecture in 2005, post-internship in 2009. Since 2008 I'm a member of Union of Artists of Ukraine. I have many international & personality exhibitions since 1999. Deep aware of the achievments of art of toys, works in technology "Teddy". I have been creating miniature bears & their friends for over 10 years - the little ones are special for my heart. They are all created by myself from my own original patterns and designs. I'm regularly participate in international competitions and exhibitions and organize workshops. My creations live around the World. All my teddys are sewn by hand. All bears are one of a kind. For my works I creates exclusive specialized materials. From miniature to more big forms I put a piese of my soul, all my toys are made with big love! I was repeatedly nominated and awarded the most prestigious awards at international exhibitions of Teddybears. Of the last awards, this are the Golden George-2018 in the category of miniature (Münster, Germany), and the main prize in the category of miniature at the Euro Teddy-2018 exhibition (Essen, Germany).
