HiIt's so good to be a member of bearpile again, I left it far too long to rejoin.
I create One of A Kind, Single Edition Artist Bears. I was lucky enough to have all four of my entries accepted in the British Bear Artist Awards 2004. This was the first and only time I have entered a competition and I am very proud to have been a finalist in this prestigious event.
Three of the bears that were nominated were my BEARS OF OLD style. I have been creating this style of bear since 2000 and it has remained a very popular range, with my bears selling out very quickly.
One of the BBAA 2004 nominated bears was Hobo's New Hat. He was one of my BIG FOOT FAMILY Wacky Bears. They all have very large FEET and NOSES, with MOULDED TOES and lots and lots of NEEDLE SCULPTURE and SHADING.
I also create my BUDDIES Range. They tend to be bigger than my BIG FOOT Family, and have longer bodies and most tend to have eyelids. They also have a BUDDY to tag along with them when they go to live with their new family.
I also have my PRETTY IN PRIM bears and dolls, I love the primitive style of bears and have always enjoyed creating tatty bears, even before I discovered the word 'primitive' and now I'm addicted!
I also create my range of SOPPY FLOPPIES. They are cute and silly and daft, and proved to be so popular that I gave in to demand and released my patterns for sale in this style. They include pandas, koala bear, hedgehog, pig and rabbit.
